Projects and Installations

In 2012, Mexican artist Alejandro Santiago created a massive installation of 2,501 nearly life-size clay figures to represent the men who had departed from his home town to find work in the U.S. These “migrantes” took over the streets of Oaxaca and I was so inspired by the awesome assembly that I made my own series of little migrants and placed them amidst their brethren.
